My name is Prateek Agarwal. I’m a digital marketing strategist. While I have worked on all kinds of marketing campaigns, I specialize in content marketing. I’m also pretty good at FIFA.
My journey began with an Economics blog I started back in 2011 while studying at the University of Southern California (USC). I created the Intelligent Economist to simplify Economic theory for a wider audience. This process taught me how to break down complex ideas, but more importantly, it opened the world of web design and digital marketing. The blog is still active today but I post infrequently.
Towards the end of my junior year, I launched CampusNow. The idea was to create digital interactive and eventually adaptable ‘textbooks’ for college students. We wanted to create a personalized learning environment while providing the economic benefits of digitalization. With my co-founder, the instructor, and I, we launched our first and only book: Introduction to Thermodynamics for a small classroom at U.C. Davis. I got my first real experience in digital marketing and learned important lessons from failure.
After graduation, I’ve worked in strategy and marketing roles in the Healthcare and Luxury Fashion industry. From branding and SEO to running paid campaigns, I’ve been fortunate enough to learn a lot about digital marketing and growth strategy.
I now specialize in Strategy and Content Marketing. I deliver value by finding and creating opportunities for startups, brands, and companies to grow. I’ve found that content marketing has great potential for establishing companies as experts in their industry, improving search rankings and driving conversions.
